GUIDELINES FOR ORAL PAPER PRESENTATION
1 Paper presentations will be power point presentations of 8minutes duration with 2 minutes for questions and discussion for long paper
2 Paper presentations will be power point presentations of 6minutes duration with 2 minutes for questions and discussion for short paper
3 Kindly adhere to the timings.
4 Please ensure that patient confidentiality is protected.
5 Names or any other identifying information should not appear in the presentation.
6 Presentation can be structured as follows.
  • Title
  • Aims and Objectives
  • Materials and Methods
  • Results
  • Conclusion
  • Clinical Relevance/take- home message
7 Paper will be judged on the content, quality of slides, clarity of presentation , time management and clinical relevance
8 Participant will be notified regarding the date &time of their presentation.
9 Certificates will be given to all primary authors. The primary author should have registered for the conference



GUIDELINES FOR POSTER AISMOC 2023
1 The Poster display will be in PORTRAIT FORM.
2 Size of the Poster should not exceed 3.6 feet Vertical and 2.6 feet Horizontal( 105cm x 75 cm approx ).
3 The POSTER SESSION is Planned for inauguration on the 10th of Feb. 2023.
4 The POSTER EVALUATION is scheduled on the 11th of Feb. 2023 between 4.00 pm and 5.00 pm.
5 The Participant of the poster will speak for 5 mins with 2 mins for Q/A discussion regarding the poster .
6 The onlookers / audience are not allowed to ask any questions during evaluation. However, the author and the delegates are free to interact at any time other than the evaluation period.
7 Pins and cello-tapes to display the poster will be provided by the organizers.
8 The POSTER will be assessed on Five Points
  • SCIENTIFIC MERIT OF THE CONTENTS. ( Maximum weightage )
  • APPEAL OF THE POSTER IN TERMS OF APPROACH AND NOVELTY.
  • CLARITY OF THE DISPLAY IN TERMS OF FONTS USED, PICTURES AND MESSAGE.
  • SIZE and Presentation
  • RESPONSE TO QUESTIONS.

TIPS FOR THE POSTER :

The tips mentioned below are advisory in nature and are not the mandatory rules.
  • Limit the text to about one-fourth of the poster space, and use "visuals" (graphs, photographs, schematics, maps, etc.) to tell your "story."
  • Title, name, and department may be positioned at top of the board. Make it obvious to the viewer how to progressively view the poster.
  • An open layout is less tiring to the eye and mind.
  • Text should be readable from at least 1 meter.
  • Keep the text brief (viewers won't bother to read more than that). SIMPLICITY IS THE KEY. Keep to the point, and don't try to cover too many things.
  • Visuals should be simple and bold.
  • Use color to enhance comprehension, not to decorate the poster.
  • Make sure that the text and the visuals are integrated.
  • Each visual should have a brief title.
  • Cite only important references

GUIDLINES FOR MEDI-QUIZ COMPETITION
1 Each steel plant hospital can send two delegates for quiz competition.
2 Competition will consist of seventy five percent (75%) questions from medical subjects & twentry five percent (25%) Questions from General Knowledge & Current affairs.
3 There will be initial preliminary round of elimination followed by final Quiz competition.
4 Decision of Quiz master will be final & binding to all the participants of medi-quiz competition.
