TIPS FOR THE POSTER :
The tips mentioned below are advisory in nature and are not the mandatory rules.
- Limit the text to about one-fourth of the poster space, and use "visuals" (graphs, photographs, schematics, maps, etc.) to tell your "story."
- Title, name, and department may be positioned at top of the board. Make it obvious to the viewer how to progressively view the poster.
- An open layout is less tiring to the eye and mind.
- Text should be readable from at least 1 meter.
- Keep the text brief (viewers won't bother to read more than that).
SIMPLICITY IS THE KEY. Keep to the point, and don't try to cover too many things.
- Visuals should be simple and bold.
- Use color to enhance comprehension, not to decorate the poster.
- Make sure that the text and the visuals are integrated.
- Each visual should have a brief title.
- Cite only important references
